Tiene como objetivo principal de fomentar la lectura mediante la utilización de diversas estrategias para captar la atención del alumno y enseñar valores necesarios para la sana convivencia en la sociedad

La finalidad de conocer cada uno de los géneros literarios  es para dar un acercamiento a este hábito tan importante y fomentar el amor a la lectura.

El programa está diseñado para propiciar un desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas en el idioma Inglés (escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir), esto se lleva a cabo a través de un sistema 50% inglés y 50% español en preescolar /primaria y 10 horas a la semana en secundaria /preparatoria.

Un método el cual integra de manera global las áreas del lenguaje y algunos contenidos que refuerzan conocimientos de otras  materias en el idioma Inglés, ciencias, matemáticas, c. sociales, arte y el desarrollo de aptitudes físicas.

El arte es importante para los niños ya que a través de él,  aprenden a pensar por sí mismos y encuentran su propia creatividad; el alumno  puede expresar sus sentimientos mientras desarrollan destrezas para el pensamiento crítico y resolución de problemas. Es por ello que en Colegio Miranda proveemos un espacio en el cual los niños pueden comunicarse a través de la música, la pintura y sus múltiples lenguas.  El taller de arte se encuentra dividido en   diferentes áreas y pueden experimentar con todo tipo de materiales, es un lugar donde  “todo es posible”.

Estamos interesados no sólo en el cultivo de la mente y en el despertar de la sensibilidad emocional, sino también inculcar  un desarrollo físico;  es por ello que el alumno tiene una vez por semana  la clase de deporte así también contamos con clases extraescolares ya sean deportivas o culturales proporciona a nuestros alumnos importantes beneficios para su desarrollo integral.  De igual manera se da información sobre hábitos alimenticios y su importancia para nuestro cuerpo.

Presentación de técnicas y programas de  computación  para el desarrollo de la lógica, la creatividad y la solución de problemas. Se presenta la identificación de la tecnología y el uso básico de la computadora en una forma fácil y divertida, para ayudarles con la escuela y actividades personales. La combinación de los conocimientos de otras materias con la clase de computación hace que el aprendizaje sea significativo para el alumno.

En nuestra sociedad es muy importante que los niños reciban una educación adecuada en valores, sólo de esta manera serán capaces de tomar sus propias decisiones con criterio propio pudiendo convivir en sociedad. Está  comprobado que los niños que han recibido en su hogar y en la escuela una buena educación en virtudes humanas, tienen mejor  autocontrol, comportamiento y cooperación que los que no han recibido esta educación.
